Parents and Friends
The Parents and Friends is a sub-committee of the school board. The P&F executive is elected at the start of each year. All parents and carers, staff and parish are invited to participate, and are encouraged to attend the monthly Parents & Friends meetings.
The role of the P&F is:
- to provide a medium for information and education for parents.
- to provide a healthy forum for exchange of ideas & discussion on relevant issues of benefit to the community and the students in particular.
- to provide additional resources to improve facilities.
- to strengthen all aspects of family life in the school community.
- to represent parents and their concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- give parents the opportunity to contribute to the decisions made for the whole school.
- provides opportunities for parents to meet.
The social activities & fundraising events help us to experience a sense of being a close school community.
